He was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in November 1943, and served as an airborne troop carrier pilot in Europe until World War II ended in 1945. After a long career with Exxon he and his wife Ann moved back to Frisco is 1981. Mayor Warren was elected to the Frisco City Council in 1983 and served thirteen years. More than half of that time was as Mayor, from 1989 to 1996. But Mayor Warren’s ties to Frisco’s history go farther back in time. His father and uncle came to Frisco in 1913 and opened the first barber shop in town.
